I had been a huge fan of this game when it first appeared as part of the Atari APX series and I persuaded Rod Cousens that we should get the license for it. The game was the forerunner of the multi-million selling "Gauntlet" series; Software Studios created this version for popular European home computers. It received critical acclaim and topped the UK charts for three weeks.
